Hello, my name is Jan Oliver Waldeck and I’m a Digital Art Director.
Since 2002 I have been working as a web developer/online manager and am passionate about it. I used to live in São Paulo, Brazil – and now just moved to the US, living for a couple of months in Florida and then moving to Durham, North Carolina, where my wife got her MBA studies. Currently we live nearby Philadelphia, in a city called Conshohocken.
In Brazil I worked for a large asset management company as online/web manager for almost 5 years, but since April of 2008 I have been working as a freelancer, doing client work as well as getting some of my personal projects off the ground.
For years I have been discovering and researching new open source CMS technologies, designing interactive websites and campaigns for well known clients. I have also been working a lot with SEO and WEB 2.0 collaborative tendencies. I also have been reviewing some great Phosothop tutorials and always taking interesting online lessons at Lynda.
Currently, I’m seeking a position as interactive designer/art director around the Philadephia Area. Through my extensive knowledge about the web and interest in the field, I am a well informed and up-to-date professional, looking forward to working in a collaborative and creative environment.
